Placing an Order and Sending Rejections

Award the transport and inform the remaining carriers.

You have compared the quotes and chosen a carrier. The order goes out as a booking email to that partner. The other participants hear nothing at first — you decide whom to inform.

Before you start

The request is open and at least one quote has arrived.

Place the order

  1. Open the Status Overview and click Compare on the request row.
  2. Above the column of the carrier you want, click Place order.
  3. Check the booking email and add a personal note if you want to.
  4. Send the email.

The awarded carrier is then marked in its column. The action is recorded in the request History with time and user.

Depending on your company's settings, sending happens either through your email program or in a window inside OYASO. → Sending the booking email

Reject the remaining carriers

Awarding does not trigger rejections automatically.

Reject all at once. Below the awarded quote, click Reject all other. Every remaining participant receives a rejection at the same time.

Reject individually. Click Reject quote on the relevant quote. Use this when you want to keep alternatives open, for example while the booking is not yet confirmed.

Before sending, a window opens where you can adjust the rejection text. The prepared text contains placeholders that OYASO fills in, including a note on how far the quote was from the best one. That placeholder only appears when there is a measurable difference.

Why a rejection is worth sending

Your carriers calculate every request. A reply, even a negative one, affects whether they quote again next time. Rejecting through OYASO takes one click and can include the comparison to the best quote.

If the request stays open afterwards

After awarding, OYASO closes the request automatically if that setting is active for your company. → Closing requests automatically after booking

Otherwise you close it yourself. → Closing, deleting, and reactivating requests
