Data Export: Downloading Offers and Transports as Excel

With the "Data Export" function, you can conveniently export all data regarding your spot requests and booked transports as an Excel file. This allows for in-depth, customized analyses outside the platform or structured further processing of the data in third-party systems (e.g., BI tools or controlling).

Important Note on Availability: > The Data Export feature is available starting from the Business package. If you do not see this function in your account, you are likely using the entry-level "Essential" plan.

1. Accessing the Export

  1. Click on the "Reports" (Berichte) menu item in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select the "Data Export" (Datenexport) option from the dropdown menu.

2. Select Export Type

You have two main areas to choose from:

  • Offers (Spot): Exports all received quotes, including those that were not booked. This is ideal for market price analyses and benchmarking.

  • Transports (Spot): Exports only the actually booked transports. This is ideal for spend analysis, controlling, and CO₂ reporting.

3. Define Period and Download

  1. Enter the desired timeframe in the date fields (based on the creation date of the request).

  2. Click the orange "Download Excel file" (Excel-Datei herunterladen) button. The file will be generated immediately and saved to your computer.

What data is included in the export?

The Excel file is highly detailed. To maintain clarity, the data is divided into logical columns and blocks:

  • Master Data & References: Client/Account, creator, reference numbers, carrier quote numbers, and your individual tags.

  • Routing & Addresses: Full address data (zip code, city, country) including port codes for sea and air freight.

  • Shipment Details: Quantities, total volume, total weight, Incoterms, dangerous goods classes, and security status.

  • Sustainability: Contains the calculated Greenhouse Gas Emissions (CO₂e) per shipment.

  • Dates & Communication: Timestamp of submission, earliest possible pickup, delivery dates, as well as the internal notes from the shipper and carrier.

  • Detailed Cost Breakdown: * Split into pre-carriage, main carriage (Sea/Air/Rail/Road), and on-carriage.

    • Individual surcharges such as fuel (diesel), security, BAF, CAF, and customs clearance costs.

  • Currency Transparency: All costs are output both in the original currency and automatically converted into Euros (EUR) to enable global comparability.
