How to Add a New User
In this article, you will learn how to invite new team members to your account on the OYASO platform and what the subsequent login process looks like for the user (via password or SSO).
Step 1: Open User Management
-
Click on your name or the company name in the top right navigation bar to open the user menu.
-
Select "User Management" (Benutzerverwaltung) from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Start the Invitation Process
You are now in the overview of all users and pending invitations.
-
Click the round, orange Plus button (+) in the bottom right corner to create a new user.
Step 3: Enter Data and Send Invitation
The "Invite User" window will open. Fill in the following mandatory fields:
-
Email: Enter the email address of the new user.
-
Role: Assign a role to the user (e.g., "User" or "Administrator") to define their permissions.
-
Finally, click the "ADD" (HINZUFÜGEN) button to complete the process.
Step 4: Login by the New User
Once you have created the user, the next steps depend on which login method your company uses:
Variant A: Standard Login (Email & Password)
This is the standard process if SSO is not activated.
-
Receive Email: The new user automatically receives an email with the subject "You have been invited by [Company Name]".
-
Confirmation: The user must click the orange "Login" (Anmelden) button in this email.
-
Login: The user is redirected to the login page.
-
There, they enter their email address and click "Continue".
-
Afterwards, they set a password and click "Login".
-
-
The user is now successfully logged in.
Variant B: Single Sign-On (SSO)
If Single Sign-On (SSO) has been activated for your account, the process is even simpler for the user:
-
No Password Email: The user does not need to set a password and generally does not receive a separate invitation email to set one.
-
Direct Login: The user simply navigates directly to
https://app.oyaso.com. -
Redirection: They enter their business email address there. The system automatically recognizes the SSO configuration and redirects the user to your company's familiar login page (e.g., Microsoft or Google Login).
