Renegotiating Prices (Target Price / Counter Offer)

The first price is not always the final one. If the received offers seem too high or you need to stick to a specific budget, you can start a renegotiation round via OYASO.

This is not done over the phone, but in a structured way using the "Renegotiate" function.


Step 1: Access the Function

Use this function when you have already received offers but would like to have them improved.

  1. Open the price comparison of the respective request.

  2. Click the "Renegotiate" button in the top right corner.


Step 2: Define Recipients & Message

A pop-up window will open where you can configure the new negotiation round:

  • Select Recipients: By default, all participating providers are listed here. However, you can specifically decide who you want to negotiate with. Click the "X" next to a name to remove a carrier from the negotiation (e.g., if their initial price was completely out of the question).

  • Set Deadline: By when do you need the new prices? Set a new date and time here.

  • Message: Here you formulate your request. You can, for example, name a specific target price ("Please check if €500 is feasible") or ask for a general review ("Please improve your conditions").

  • Submit: Click on "Send" (Senden / Revise quotation).


Step 3: Timeline & Updates

After sending, the process is transparently documented in the Activity Log (Verlauf). There you can see exactly when you asked whom for an improvement.

  • Notification: As soon as a carrier responds to your request and updates their offer, you—as the creator of the request—will automatically receive an email notification.

  • New Prices: The new price is updated and displayed directly in your comparison table, allowing you to use it immediately for awarding the contract.
