Sending the Booking Email

Through your email program or straight from OYASO — and what differs.

When you place an order, a booking email goes to the carrier. There are two routes for sending it. Which one applies depends on your company's settings.

Which route is active for you

Click Place order and watch what opens:

  • Your email program opens with a prepared draft — sending runs through your program.
  • A window inside OYASO with sender, recipient and a text field — direct sending is active.

Sending through your email program

  1. Click Place order.
  2. Your email program opens with a prepared draft.
  3. Add text or attachments if you need to.
  4. Send the email. Only then does the order reach the carrier.

The draft sits in your mailbox, as does the sent email. Replies arrive as usual.

Two things to watch on this route. The draft is created but not sent — if it stays in your outbox, the carrier never learns about the booking. And with very long loading instructions the text can be shortened, because handing it over to the email program is technically limited.

Sending directly from OYASO

  1. Click Place order.
  2. The Place order window opens. Sender and recipient are pre-filled.
  3. Check the message and add a note if you want to.
  4. Click Send.

The email goes out immediately. You receive a blind copy in your mailbox so your email program stays in sync. Replies from the carrier arrive in your mailbox and are also recorded in the request History.

There is no character limit on this route. Even long loading instructions are transferred in full.
