# Reporting on CO₂ Emissions

## Where the figures come from and how to pull them.

### Where the figures come from

Your carrier enters the figure when quoting, in the **Greenhouse gas emissions (kg)** field. If they enter none, OYASO stores an estimate based on the shipment data.

### Retrieving the figures

They appear only in the Excel export, not in the interface.

1. In the main menu, click **Reports**.
2. Select **Data export**.
3. Choose **Quotes (Spot)** or **Transports (Spot)**.
4. Enter the period and download the file.

The column is called **Greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂e)**.

### Which scope to choose

**Transports** for sustainability reporting — you count what actually ran.

**Quotes** when checking whether a lower-emission alternative was available.

### If figures are missing

Where there is neither an entry nor an estimate, the column stays empty. Ask your partners to fill the field.
