Using Reference Numbers (Order Numbers & Allocation)

You can assign an individual reference to every freight request in OYASO. This field is much more powerful than it might seem at first glance.


Where does the reference appear?

  • In the subject line of the emails sent to your carriers.

  • In the search function of your Status Overview.

  • In all Excel exports and reports.

Best Practices for Usage: Use the reference field to easily locate the request later in your ERP system or internal tracking lists. Popular entries include:

  • Your internal order or commission number.

  • The zip code and city of the consignee (for quick geographical searches).

  • Specific information such as the container number or vehicle type.
