Creating Tenders & Rate Requests (Multiple Items)
If you are not just looking for a one-off daily price (Spot) but want to negotiate fixed tariffs for a longer period or an entire project, you can use a rate request (Tender) in OYASO.
The major advantage: Instead of creating many individual requests, you can bundle the demand for different routes, container types, or vehicle types into a single large request. This saves you time when sending and saves your partners time during processing.
1. Adding or Copying Items (Positions)
You can structure your tender completely flexibly and add as many items (columns) as you like. Use the icons in the header area of the request mask to do this:
-
Create new item: Click the "Plus" icon to add a completely new column with a new route (e.g., a new routing or a different container type).
-
Duplicate item: Click the "Copy" icon (two overlapping documents) to clone an existing column. This is particularly practical for very similar requirements where you only need to adjust one detail (e.g., the destination zip code).
2. Partial Offers from Carriers (Important!)
A common concern with large tenders is: "Do my partners have to submit an offer for all 50 items?"
The answer is: No. Your partners are not forced to quote all listed routes. If a partner does not service a specific route, they can submit a partial offer.
Attention – Here is how it works technically: > For the carrier to successfully submit their offer to you, they must not simply leave the fields empty for routes they do not service. The system expects a reaction for every item. The carrier must explicitly reject the respective route in the system (e.g., via the "Reject Route" button or the "X" in the overview). Only when all routes have either been priced or officially rejected can the partial offer be transmitted to you.
