Entering an Offer Received by Phone or Email
Bringing prices that arrive outside OYASO into the comparison.
Not every price arrives through the form. Some carriers call, or send an informal email. You can enter such prices yourself so they appear in the comparison alongside the rest.
How to do it
- Open the request from your Status Overview. Click the reference number, or More... on the right.
- Click Record offer.
- Select the carrier the price came from.
- Enter the total price and currency, and the carrier's quotation number if you have it.
- Click Record.
The offer appears in the comparison immediately and can be compared and awarded like any other.
Traceability
In the comparison, a manually entered offer looks like any other. The History on the left of the request records it: it shows that the offer was entered on behalf of the carrier, and by which user.
What to keep in mind
A price you entered yourself is not confirmed by the carrier. Note what it covers — validity, surcharges, transit time — so the comparison stays sound.
