Duplicating a Request
Creating a new request from an earlier one.
You do not have to re-enter recurring shipments. An existing request can serve as the basis for a new one.
How to do it
- Open the earlier request from your Status Overview.
- Click Duplicate.
- Check the carried-over data and adjust dates and anything that differs.
- Select your carriers and send the request.
Dimensions, addresses, and loading instructions are already filled in. Usually you only set the new dates.
What is carried over
Shipment data, route, Incoterm, and loading instructions from the old request. Offers and history are not copied — the new request starts empty.
When duplicating is the right route
Besides recurring shipments there is a second case: when you notice a mistake after sending. A sent request cannot be changed. You close it and start a corrected one with Duplicate.
